I knew you when....

We all have read Jeremiah, we've all been told that God knew us before he formed us. But have you ever really sat down and thought about it? Every victory, every heartache, every milestone in our life, God knew. He even knew when we would forget to pray, forget to praise, forget to worship. And yet God had faith in us. Enough patience that we would turn and seek him again. Have you ever stood by and watched someone, maybe your friend, maybe your family, maybe even your children make the same mistake over and over, hoping one day they would turn from their ways and see their destructive behavior? That's how God is, waiting patiently on the sidelines for us to turn that game around and make that scoring touchdown. Think about it, while your sitting there bored trying to think of something to do, God is waiting for you...I met a patient the other day that moved over 3,000 miles to be with family that now was so busy raising their own they forgot to spend any time with him. Imagine being the one left out. Imagine being the one sitting on the sidelines waiting for attention. God said if we didn't praise him he would make the rocks sing out, just remember God waiting in the sidelines may be temporary as he finds someone else to fulfill his plan. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart. I appointed you as a prophet for nations. Jeremiah 1:5
